Jocelyn Cheng | Chinese International School
Jocelyn is the current operations officer for the JLC. Through working with Branches of Hope and the Global Issues Network, she’s gained a passion for human rights advocacy. She believes that freedom of speech and security are fundamental rights each human should be given access to. Jocelyn hopes that the Justice Leaders Council can make a positive impact on the community, and assist in dissolving the prejudice Hong Kong has formed against refugees. At school, she is involved in various publications and service groups that allow her to be a supportive member of the JLC. Her long-term personal goal is to enter a career that will allow her to make a positive impact on individuals or society as a whole.

Jamie Lai | St.Paul's Convent School
As the Director of Public Relations in Justice Leader’s Council, Jamie is responsible of the maintaining and building of relationships between JLC and partnering organisations such as Red Cross, Refugee Union and Branches of Hope. Having school-based experiences in outreaching to different organisations, Jamie also works to recruit new members for JLC. Having also joined extra-curricular activities such as Mock Trial and debate has also helped Jamie develop a strong sense of awareness to social issues and she dreams of being able to make a positive impact on these issues one day.

Charisse Kong | Renaissance College
Charisse Kong is a year 12 student studying at Renaissance College, appointed as the public relations officer for the Justice Leaders Council. She has exercised her passion for human rights by leading and participating in internships, clubs, and events, working with NGOs such as Amnesty International, Mission for Migrant Workers, and Crossroads. She has previously been focused on advocating for the injustice of domestic helpers within Hong Kong, working on direct case studies and celebratory events. Over the summer, she attended the World Scout Jamboree as a global ambassador, allowing her directly interact with youths all around the world, gaining insight on the variety of cultures as well as the beauty of humanity. Besides work, she is your basic ukulele girl who adores dogs, musicals, and stationary! sksk

Tamaki Kuno | Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong
As one of the directors of JLC, Tamaki is in charge of website design and social media. She is a Japanese studying abroad in HK for one year. Talking to refugees in Chungking Mansions right after she came to HK, she joined JLC last year as a General member to gain more hands-on experiences and find out what she can do for them. She is a member of a club to provide support for refugees at her school in HK. With a passion for cultural anthropology, she hopes to pay back to society.

Cindy Lim | Chinese International School
Cindy is a content designer from Chinese International School. In school, she has worked with the Human Rights Group and as well as several school magazines. In addition to this, she has taught and illustrated books for underprivileged children in the Hong Kong Reading Project. With her background in art, she aims to help with the design of media, in addition to providing ideas towards helping refugees.

Rishima Mathur | Discovery College
Rishima is a Y12 student at Discovery College and is one of the content designers and Communications Director for JLC. She has had the privilege of being a Community Engagement captain at school, a Higher Education Ambassador and is involved with the school UNICEF club. Taking part in these activities has only furthered her passion for service and to raise awareness about inequality and other issues in Hong Kong.
She hopes to combine her love for arts and design with the skills she has developed through her community service activities and has no doubt that her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and collaborate will dictate her time at JLC. In her free time, she can be found either at the school art studio preparing for competitions, playing the piano or discovering HK! |

Zoe Shu | St.Paul's Co-educational College
Zoe is the Red Cross Project Leader for JLC. She communicates with the Red Cross and organizes educational programs. Concerned about social issues and injustice, she volunteers regularly and actively participates in MUN conferences. Aside from that, she enjoys her free time by reading and playing music. She is a member of her school's choir and symphony orchestra.

Deborah Chen | Chinese International School
Deborah is the project coordinator for the translation project (with Justice Centre), where she manages all administrative and logistical matters while working closely with the Deputy Director-General. She communicates and maintains a strong relationship with partnering organisations and individuals that are involved in the project. She has experience servicing and fundraising in non-profit organisations, developing a passion for human right causes and advocating. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports and working on art pieces.

Isaac Chan | King's College
Isaac is a Form 5 student from King’s College serving as one of the advocacy leaders of JLC. As the Chairman of the King’s International Relations Council, he participated in the World Scholar’s Cup and various MUN conferences, apart from engaging in both Chinese and English debating. As such he has acquired a deeper understanding of issues related to international affairs and human rights. Through taking leadership roles in various school clubs, he has also acquired the ability to initiate, organise and manage activities targeted at students. Isaac wishes to further the cause of human rights in Hong Kong through JLC.

Daniel Chung | Victoria Shanghai Academy
As one of the Advocacy Leaders, Daniel Chung helps to research human rights issues, as well as analysing research for JLC’s ongoing projects and initiatives. He will also be helping out with recruitment of members for his school’s JLC chapter. Outside school, MUN has helped develop his interest and passion for issues of global significance such as international humanitarian law and current world events. Through participating in JLC, he hopes to learn about how these concepts tie to Hong Kong, particularly human rights, while possibly sparking other students’ passion for social issues.

Claudia Tsui | Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong
Claudia is currently a form 5 student studying at Li Po Chun United World College. She has been in the MUN community for several years now, which has developed her interest in social and global affairs. She hopes that through JLC initiatives and events, students would be able to explore a variety of human rights issues and indulge in meaningful discussions, impacting the wider community through interaction with others and comprehensive action to be taken.
